Dr. Battle is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is double Board Certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health at Loma Linda University. She earned her Medical Degree at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at UCSF - Fresno and Valley Children's Hospital. Additional training in an Adolescent Medicine Fellowship was completed at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Dr. Battle enjoys spending time with her husband and two children who are active in the western riding community. It is not uncommon to see her cheering at rodeos near and far on any given weekend.
