We are conveniently located in the heart of San Luis Obispo, CA and provide a variety of pediatric services to families living in the area including well care and sick visits, prenatal visits for expecting parents, parent resources, asthma care, mental health visits, sports exams, and medical ear piercing. Regular well visits to the pediatrician is the best way to make sure your child is healthy and meeting their developmental milestones. Our care providers are trained to provide current, thoughtful practices to the wellness care of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. During these well visits your pediatrician will evaluate your child’s development, address any concerns you might have, and provide advice for the continued health and growth of your child. At Central Coast Pediatrics, we offer well child visits at recommended intervals.

Our Providers

Dr. Tamara Battle is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is double Board Certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health at Loma Linda University. She earned her Medical Degree at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at UCSF - Fresno and Valley Children's Hospital. Additional training in an Adolescent Medicine Fellowship was completed at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Battle enjoys spending time with her husband and two children who are active in the western riding community. It is not uncommon to see her cheering at rodeos near and far on any given weekend.
